Player Roles
Player may choose from a variety of roles to play and interact with others and NPCs. These roles are open to interpretation, but there are a few guidelines to each one. Characters may level up in these roles through art and interaction with other players, and at level 10 they may choose to pick up a secondary role.
Rancher - Ranchers may own fields of various crops as well as "food herds." Food herds are dinosaurs made just for herding, and do not count towards imports, and may not be used in breeding or activities outside of herding. Once a month, ranchers may choose to cull their herd, adding meat to their inventory that they can then sell to the game or other players for money. Meat is a necessary part of healing hurt carnivores. Ranchers may also choose to breed their herd once every other week, bringing the herd's number up. Ranchers may also plant food for herbivores and may harvest these plants once a month to sell either to the game or other players. Start game with choice of 1x 50 head herd and 1x 50 crops.
Dinoboy - This world's equivalent of a cowboy, you help manage herds with ranchers. You may move from rancher to rancher, or you may stay loyal to a single rancher. Players will have a guaranteed pay per month from NPC ranchers, but it will be minimum wage. Working with other player ranchers, you may be payed more for your hard work. Herd without dinoboys are susceptible to significant loss and may be hit hard by wild predators without someone to watch over them. Start game with 1x 1870 Western Saddle and 5x Rope.
Merchant - You specialize in purchasing bulk from the farmers and selling it to the general populace. You may acquire bulk from NPC shops and sell it at any rate to their players. If your player has the crafting skill, you may also be able to buy bulk materials and sell higher quality items. Start game with merchant tack and 1x bundle of supplies.
Breeder - You've built up your own empire of dinosaurs and you have your own farm that's been customized for owning and breeding dinosaurs. You may keep all eggs received from breeding, as opposed to donating one to Daisy during breeding season. Start game with 2x eggs of your choice of species.
Paleontologist - You've dedicated your life to studying dinosaurs, and you can do anything a modern veterinarian could do. You know how to heal dinosaurs and can heal 1 dinosaur every week. You receive 3x stat bonus coins to be used on any dinosaur you own.

Player Abilities
These are bonuses that will affect how efficiently your player can accomplish certain tasks, allowing them to receive more or less rewards in the end.
Animal Handler - You character has a way with animals and is able to calm any beast in the land. When approaching wild animals, your character is more likely to tame them. When working with rowdy dinosaurs, your player is more likely to calm them.
Charismatic - Your character has charm and is not afraid to use it. Your character will have a bonus of 5% better prices when purchasing from game stores. Player stores may choose whether or not to follow this character bonus.
Eagle Eye - Your character is master of firearms and is able to shoot a can half a mile away. When hunting, your character is guaranteed at least two prey items.
Wrangler - Your player is master of the herd and is one of the best dinoboys around. Your player has an added bonus when herding dinosaurs and is guaranteed to keep at least two thirds of the herd when traveling the feeding grounds.
Saddle Sore - Your player can resist the pains of long rides, being able to travel the length of the land much easier and somewhat quicker than others. When traveling, your character's travel time is reduced by 1 whole day.
Skilled Hands - Your player receives a bonus for any sort of crafting prompt. From tanning hides to building homes your character will receive a bonus to everything they create, elevating the item from "average" to "refined."
